JSS college of Physiotherapy was established in the year 1999. The chief goal of the institute is to create competent physiotherapists having contemporary knowledge & innovative skills to promote rehabilitation, health & fitness.

The college was the first in the district of Mysore and adjoining districts. This unique situation has afforded many opportunities for the students. Currently the college offer undergraduate and post graduate programmes (BPT & MPT) under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bengaluru. The college is recognised under section 2f of UGC and by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists.
