Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Medical College & Hospitals (VMKVMCH), Salem, established in 1995 by the visionary philanthropist Dr. A. The institution was initially affiliated with The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University and subsequently became a constituent college of Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) in 2004.

Sharavanan, who serves as the employer and guiding force of Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Medical College & Hospitals. The academic and administrative affairs of the institution are overseen by Dr. K. Located in a serene rural setting in Salem, Tamil Nadu, the campus spans 69 acres, providing a conducive environment for medical education and healthcare services. VMKVMCH offers the MBBS programme with an annual intake of 150 students and postgraduate MD/MS programmes with 110 seats across 23 well-established departments, all recognized by the National regulatory authorities for medical education.

Faculty development programmes are regularly conducted through the Medical Education and Technology Unit to strengthen teaching competencies in alignment with Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) guidelines of the National Medical Commission.
